“The Big One” is our annual event to say thank you for all the hard work throughout the year. Last year was a huge success with over 200 people attending in some form. This makes it unofficially and a total guess the biggest litter pick ever to happen in the Dee Valley. Maybe.
This year we’re going for it again. Inviting anyone and everyone to come join us.
we would love to invite you onto the water, trails and paths around llangollen, anywhere that you want to target to make cleaner and safer for everyone and everything.
The Plan
Meet - Horseshoe Falls Car Park - 5pm
Clean & Collect - Where ever you want. How ever you want. There will be groups heading out on the River, Canal, Trails & Paths
We will have limited spaces on rafts and in canoes. These need to be booked beforehand please see the form below.
Rubbish Dump - Mill street car park - 7:30
Gather - You are then more than welcome to meet at Riverbanc from 7:30 for music, food, gifts & raffle from our amazing sponsors.
By taking part in any Dee Valley Clean Up event, I understand and agree to the following:
I am participating entirely at my own risk.
I am solely responsible for assessing my own abilities and will only engage in activities that I am physically and mentally capable of completing safely.
I understand that the organisers provide no supervision, instruction, or safety cover, and that I must bring and use my own appropriate equipment.
I accept full responsibility for my own safety, equipment, and wellbeing during the event.
I understand that the organisers accept no liability for any injury, loss, or damage to myself, my belongings, or others.
By signing below and joining this event, I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to participate under these terms.
