The Big One is the flagship event of Dee Valley Clean Up — a mass clean of the iconic Dee Valley, clearing everything we can find along the way. Paddlers, walkers, riders and volunteers unite for a powerful show of community spirit, working together on the water, along the banks, down the canal, and across the trails — wherever help is needed most. It’s an all-hands-on-deck evening that showcases what’s possible when people come together with pride, purpose and a love for the Dee Valley.
But The Big One doesn’t end when the bags are full. We finish with an iconic evening of music, food, drinks and good times at Riverbanc— a chance to celebrate the impact we’ve made, appreciate everyone who’s given their time and energy throughout the year, and look ahead to the work still to come. It’s about community, connection and commitment to the places we care about. This is Dee Valley Clean Up. Meet
Horseshoe Falls Car Park - 5pm
Clean & Collect
Where ever you want. How ever you want. There will be groups heading out on the River, Canal, Trails & Paths
We will have limited spaces on rafts for the river clean. These need to be booked beforehand please see the form below.
Rubbish Dump
Mill street car park - from 7:30

You are then more than welcome to meet at Riverbanc from 7:30 for music, food, gifts & raffle from our amazing sponsors.
Winning
This year, by signing up not only will you be coming to the greatest clean up event around. Your sign up will enter you to win some dope as stuff.
By taking part in any Dee Valley Clean Up event, I understand and agree to the following:
I am participating entirely at my own risk.

I understand that the organisers provide no supervision, instruction, or safety cover, and that I must bring and use my own appropriate equipment.
I accept full responsibility for my own safety, equipment, and wellbeing during the event.
I understand that the organisers accept no liability for any injury, loss, or damage to myself, my belongings, or others.
